Dina is originally from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she relocated into Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. There are two of her younger siblings and an older brother. Between the ages of nine and 16, her first exposure to the business world was when she first began modeling. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are also amongst those actors who've received similar training. The actress was a part of Beverly Hills 90210, and was forced relocate in Los Angeles to take the lead role. The role was as the lead lady on Johnny Mnemonic in which she was able to perform almost every stunt herself, and established herself as a talented actress. As well as Matt LeBlanc's agency for talent, her agent was in charge of a variety of recurring roles in the show Friends.
