Jamie Colby
Colby, National News Anchor as well as Correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July 2003. Prior to being hired by FOX News Channel, Colby worked as a reporter for CNN and was anchor and reporter at CBS News which included anchor fill-in on CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby has been admitted as an attorney to practice law in New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. She has received numerous awards, including the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002 for coverage of the September 11 attacks. 11 and for her reporting on the September 11 attacks. Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting in 2000, and the Clarion Award for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News-Show Stars to Watch". Colby worked as an attorney, who aside from her profession as a journalist, worked for 10 years in private practice. Colby's law firm began when she was a Hollywood production firm assigned her to The Tonight Show. Colby was a co-host with Johnny Carson at the age of 22 throughout his contract renewal as well as divorce from NBC. Colby is the host and reporter for Strange Inheritance on Fox Business, covering quirky or unanticipated legacy left by loved ones or relatives.
